Love Made Her Brave

Undergraduate Qian Yun, from Banting Methodist Church, is so eager for her family to know Christ that she is not afraid of rejection from them. In June, she asked Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) staff to go to her house to share the gospel with her loved ones, and she personally explained the Four Spiritual Laws (4SL) to her father.

Since becoming a Christian two years ago, Qian Yun has been thinking of telling her family about Jesus. When three CCC workers went to her church to conduct training, she asked them to visit her family.

CCC staff Fay Yong and two others called on Qian Yun’s family, but only her brother and sister were home; her parents came back later. Fay started to talk to Qian Yun’s mother, while the young lady took the opportunity to share the 4SL with her father. The other two CCC staff spoke with Qian Yun’s brother and sister.

Qian Yun’s father did not want to hear the good news; he kept reading the papers and even answered the phone. However, his daughter was undeterred by his attitude. Although the family did not accept Christ, at least they have heard the gospel.

“I felt that Qian Yun was very brave. If I had brought my friends to my house to share the gospel, I do not think I would have dared to share with my father,” Fay said.

Qian Yun’s attitude was a great encouragement to the CCC staff, who told this story after the training.
